Organisation is a must, in order to achieve you must be organized. Organisation is, Setting goals, then organising your way to achieve your dream. You have to set goals, then organise. Set up schedules, create timetables study times, etc.
Set Goals
Remeber goals are like dominos, they are connected and if something happens to one, the rest get affected. Dont just set a long term goal such as "I'm going to become an architecht!' and hope for the best. You must set short term goals that build up to the long term goals, and you must set micro-goals that lead to short term goals. This is very important you must set all three to achieve.
Long Term Goals
Long term goals are goals that you want to achieve in the long term such as, "I want to become a pharmacist" or "Where do want to be in 5-15 years?" Set your long term goal(s) and set short term goals that lead to that. But remember you must build short term goals that lead to long term goals.
Short Term Goals
Short term goals are just as important as long term goals, because if they aren't achieved neither are the long term goals. You have to set up short term goals that lead to the long term goals. For instance, if your long term goal is "I want to become an architect", work out how you are going to become an architect. What do you need to do? You need to first qualify for University/College. If you haven't finished high school, finish high school, do as well as you can to qualify for the best Uni/College. If high school is finished, and you qualify for a University or College, apply. Then set your short term goals. E.g I will get a Distinction in this course, I will ace my mid year exam.
Or it could be creating a website or a blog. Then the short term goals would be, create a blog, build up traffic, etc.
Micro Goals
Micro goals are similar to Daily to do's. Micro goals are the things you want to achieve in an hour, in a day or in a week, these goals lead to short term goals. Such as If the scenario was to pass an exam, some micro goals would be;
Study for an amount of time
Read chapters 6-9
Finish writing this composition,etc.
All of the goals above are really important and you must and i repeat must have all three types of goals in order to be successful.
Step 2
Organise to achieve your goals.
To do this, you must set up a working space, a timetable and a calendar. You must be organised. Set up a working area, put up a timetable and actually spend time making that timetable. Fit in everything you need to achieve your goals. Use a diary, you don't have to go spend $300 to be organised. A PDA is very useful, and "cool" but, I don't see why you should pay an extra $300 when you could use a diary instead. You will still be organised and save money at the same time.
Set up a timetable and stick it somewhere in your working area. Put up a calendar so that you won't forget anything again.

LifeJustStarted: Just Started!
A blog that helps you re-design your life, the way you want it. I've been thinking about starting blogging, but wanted some knowledge on what I was going to blog about. I finally chose what I want to blog about. Self improvement. I was looking through other blogs for self improvement, but I didn't quite like what I saw. In most of the blogs (of course there were some valuable ones), they were talking of self improvement as quitting your day job and starting blogging for money. Although for some, that maybe a great idea, to me it's not.
Re-design Your Life
In most blogs, they were trying to convince people into starting to blog and make that your lifestyle. But the reason I started this blog is because I thought my tactics are "more satisfying".First of all, rather than just quitting your day job and/or your daily habits, think. Spare 20 minutes for yourself. Go to a quiet area, and start to think.
Think about this:
Am I happy with myself?
Could my life have been better?
Am I successful?
Do I have any habits that will affect me?
Is this who I want to be?
Think...
I will not say "Quit your day job and start blogging for money and there YOU WILL BE HAPPY!" That won't make everybody happy. Everybody is different. First of all you have to decide and know what you want. If you aren't happy with where you are now, change. Now decide what do you want to be? What will make you happy?
Remember this, 'You have only one life to live'. No matter what is your age, where you are, if you are determined, you can achieve. If you ever wished you could have become for e.g an accountant, take action. Are you 13? 26? 46? or even 55? So what?
It is much better to use up 4 years of your life to be happy for the rest of your life. If that's your decision, its never too late. Do you want to be an architect? or a full time blogger? What ever you want to be think, use that 20 minutes to think about your life. Then write them down. Make sure you write them down so that you can get back to them. After you thought seriously about your life.
